I have a second set of carb bodies so took the new throttle rods and butterflys out of the ones with the bad "new" bearings and put them in the others. Seem fine from here.

Now need to reassemble all and make six of those darn intake manifold gaskets. Sigh.

You would think I would know to buy them by the dozen.

Well I now have the new intake manifold gaskets cut but it is getting cold and darkish outside.

Hehe, did it anyway.

Man it is nice to have a decent idle. Down to 1000 with no adjusting.

Was air leaks in the throttle bushings all this time.

Will do a real adjustment tomorrow, I had a choke sticking a bit so need to readjust that but just had no more energy. Has been a long day and a frustrating three weeks.

Oh yea did put a volt meter on the generator, it is putting out, need to see if it is getting to the battery.
