TR6 Monza Exhaust

I have been going through all of the boxes that my 72 TR6 arrived with.
I have found the mid pipes for a Monza exhaust system but no mufflers. I have read that the Monza system is generally too loud anyway so I was curious if anyone knows of any other mufflers I can use?

Can't help you with suggestions, but I agree with the consensus that the Monza mufflers are too loud. Didn't like them in my 6, but they sure look cool!

I have the Ansa system which is louder than the Monza. While I actually prefer the Ansa sound I really do not like the fit. And plan on the Monza next time. We do a lot of traveling and a considerable amount of long trips and prefer a loud system. I feel it helps make our presence known.

I personally like the look of the original much better than the Monza. I have to admit that I haven't heard the Monza but I only have half of a system anyway.

I also have the ANSA exhaust system. I do agree that it's loud but I like it. As for the fit, I thought it fit pretty good; install was quite easy.

Ah, the old motorcyclist's credo: loud pipes save lives...

My Triumph Speedmaster is completely stock, while yes the the cocktail shaker exhaust looks good it is way too loud.
I hate a loud exhaust especially one that has a drone.

Back in the day I had a TR3 and replaced the stock muffler with a Smithy's intended for a Ford(?). Had a deep tone with no unpleasant overtones.

I put the TR4 twin muffler system on the 6 and it has a very throaty low tone and a little popping when gearing down. Nothing loud.
Had to do a little bending in the back to make it fit. Mine has a single exhaust going back, if you have the double header, like on the later ones, you just need to put the two mufflers on after working around the rear end..

Thanks guys for all the input. When I get to it I may just see what I can find in the way of mufflers to fit the Monza pipes. I have the dual header and pipes but no mufflers.
