No... Not mine... I only wish!

Just came across this great set of high quality pictures from the event, of particular interest among the pictures are some of the unusual "specials" that were there, I understand that was the theme this year.

One day... I will go there, or so I keep saying, in the meantime I'll slober over these pictures and keep dreaming of some day.

Wow....unbelievable cars.

I love, absolutely love, that Bizzarini. Three GT40's, the Maserati, I can't stop drooling.

Didn't Dan Gurney drive that Penske Javelin?

Neat pictures.
I've actually seen some of those cars at Lime Rock.
You have to wonder what it costs to ship a vintage racer all around the country...rich or poor, it's good to have money I guess!
Come to think of it, I saw some of those cars racing when they were new (like the Bud Moore Mustang).
I'd expect that there'll be some nice snaps online after the uncoming Zippo Vintage races at Watkins Glen. I won't be there but two of my friends will be running their Porsches (a 356 and a 911).

Wow. The Cunningham, a Scarab, THE 300SLR "722", some Allards........ drool drool. I gotta get some of my Zippo shots posted.

I know a bunch of those cars. The first GT40 I believe is Tom Armstrong's. The Devin is John Goodman's. The '52 Ferrari Mexico is Bruce McCaw's.

A lot of these cars have raced up in Seattle. Fun and very beautiful!

Thanks for posting the link.
