I am planning a trip to France in May 2018 and would like to attend the Monaco Historic Races. Has anyone attended and do you have any pointers. Is it a zoo like I expect the F1 race to be or more subdued like the Monterey Historics? Can I buy tickets at the gate or do i need to purchase them ahead of time through a reseller? My wife will be coming but doesn't really want to attend the races. Is the rest of Monaco still functioning with the normal sites to see, or is it strictly race oriented? Anything else you would recommend.
 
It's a pity nobody has unswered yet, and though I live in France I can't also, but may recommend you to check on Tripadviser or Event Calendar web page.
