modern paint code for Signal Red?

Does anyone know a modern paint code for Signal Red (Triumph paint code 32) ?

I'm restoring a '71 TR6 and a couple recommended paint vendors do not have a formula for it, and I'd rather go with THE original color rather than matching a swatch on the car.

I did track down:

BASF 80308 "Signal Red"
PPG 70966 "Torch Red" (suspicious)

Can anyone confirm these paint codes, or supply a modern one you know is correct?

Thanks!

I was able to get a can mixed up with the original code number. I also was able to get the modern formula for it. I am at work now, but will try to find the answer for you tonight. Email me at home tomorrow if I don't get it to you tonight.

Signal Red
Color Code 32
PPG/Ditzler Code 70966
ICI code 2829
Acme/Sherwin Williams Code 2989

That's what I used on a TR3A and think it is perfect (the spray can of Signal Red I later ordered from Tower Paints was an exact match top what was on the car).

PS: That avatar at the left is not a particularly good representation of the color.

Excellent--thanks for the info...

My paint guy highly recommended BASF paints, under brands Glasurit and Diamont (?). Anyone confirm the BASF/Glasurit/Diamont codes?

Adrio, that'd be great if you could post that.

Thanks.
