Did anyone happen to catch the "Worlds Fastest" episode of "Modern Marvels" on the History Channel on Wednesday night? In the section about automobiles they showed the evolution of fast automobiles and at one point they showed some racing footage of a Spitfire being followed by another car (Spriget or another Spitfire, smoking horribly from the right front) and then they showed a racing clip wherein a Group 44 TR7 was hot on the tail of a Porsche and a BMW. Brief, but fun to see the Triumph presence.
