Just rented "The Mechanic"this weekend. I see the Jag early in the film, it looked great! I did not let the wife know what was coming up (she has not seen the original film, not a fan of Charles Bronson, lived next to Bronson's farm for years in North Hartland)). We had discussed it here and it did not look like a "mock up", I know that Hollywood does some great magic/misdirection, so lets hope it was a burned out shell they started with. Coincidentally she (my wife) grew up in Sharon Vermont where the last scene of the original was filmed.
