MkI vs MkII seat pans

Does anyone know the difference between MkI and MkII (Sprite) seat pans? I have seat frames from a MkI and pans from a MkII. The pans fit in the frame fine, but I am wondering if they are shaped properly to use foams and covers from a MkI.

I'm tempted at this point to just let my upholstery guy make the bottoms entirely out of foam on a wood bottom.

If they fit they fit, go for it.

Thanks,
Good to know. I didn't want to end up with oddly shaped seat bottoms.

Hmm, oddly shaped seat bottoms for oddly shaped seats....

Or something like that.
