Mine are pretty bad, but with some work, I may be able to clean them up but...

Does anyone have any of the orginal straps they'd be looking to part with? These are only available in rubber now and I'm still struggling to keep the car orginal....
 
for lack of a better explanation, the material appears to look like old fire hose.

yes sir. it appears to me that the only ones available in the aftermarket are made of rubber...
