im stripping my mk2 for paint
how do i get to the back side of the windscreen washer nosals ?

steve

Remove left side box behind wheel and right side glove box. Hoses and nuts should be visible and contortions required. While there, might as well replace washer hoses too.

ouch

ok i have yet to figure out the order for removing the screws to remove the dash boxes any tips?

Center dash (gauges) folds down. Screws should be on bottom and side. Took mine apart 5 yrs ago and still apart so I'm going by old memory. Think, car was hand assembled, so think backwards assembly. All my screws were slots and need exact screwdriver to get out. Another way, may be to take off upper part of dash and it exposes the under windshield, less screws but bigger piece.

right o, yes, i allways look for the system, I can pop the door card on my xj in my sleep at this point
