Okay, I am doing some "stuff" to Elizabeth, like console recovering, and while waiting for the bits to return, decided to find out why my accelerator pedal rattled side to side.
Well, mount and pedal are okay, but the Fulcrum bolt is worn (C.6969), and I have SNG looking.

Then, I looked at the stop bolt on the side of the pedal at the fulcrum.

What is the purpose of this stop bolt?
Near as I can tell, it is to keep the pedal from flopping back too far, but I can find no spec (Haynes) for adjustment of said bolt.

Any bright ideas?
(Organ style, not Pendant).

Another part of this....
My J.33 parts manual shows different part numbers for LHD and RHD pedals.
If one believes the drawings, LHD pedals have the stop bolt on the LH side of the fulcrum, whilst RHD cars have it to the RH side of the fulcrum.
My 2.4L is RHD, yet, according to the drawings, I have a LHD pedal.

Those of you with LHD (or RHD) MK2's, which side is your stop bolt on?

Thanks!
Dave
