Not sure I even ever had one in my box of bolts, car came with out steering wheel even.

A lously steering wheel nut. Anyone have an extra or know what size it is even, might be able to find one at the big Hardware. I have been through everything I own.

I thought I had one Jack, and I do, but the threads are all buggered. If you get in a bind for one I do have another on my 69 which you are welcome to. They are 1 1/16" fine thread!

Thanks guys, don't send anything till we corrdinate properly please. I only need one, hehe.

I will also check at the big hardware but as I remember it is a fairly then bolt.

Thanks for looking guys, I thought I had it all, sigh. Very embarsing.

Well, just keep us posted. (he, he I'm sure you will!!) /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Well no stearing wheel nuts in this neck of the woods.

So if you have one available send me a PM or such.

Are the nuts common to all Spridgets?

Jack, I not only couldn't find the nut, but couldn't even find the steering shaft I thought I had. I'll pull one from the '63 tomorow if you want me to. BTW, the nuts may be 1 1/16" across the flats, but are only about 5/8" or so thread.
Jeff

Jack, looking at VB, the one from my 69 carries a different part# from the one for a 58 (pp96 & 97). I do have one extra, but I think it must be for the newer car because it is different from the one on my BE and the one for the Midget has an even different part#. Sorry... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

There you go Jack, even off one that matches Miss Agatha!
