missing a thread

I believe it was Basil who recently posted a thread in which he was over-dubbing the lyrics to "I Am The Walrus" while displaying like too many of the dreams I had in the 60s-70s. He mentioned that he was trying out a new microphone and I happen to have a need for a PC microphone with which to record narration for video projects.

Anybody
  • know where the thread is
  • know what happened to it
  • remember the make/model of the microphone
  • recommend an under-$50 usb or 1/8" plug mono or stereo microphone that will do the job for me
  • that ships quickly and clears customs even faster

I saw that: "just mess'in around" or something like that. Pretty good. I guess if you own the joint you can make things appear and disappear.

Does anyone remember what kind of microphone he was testing?

The name "Blue" sticks in my mind but so did a lot of other stuff that wasn't right either.

I got a little self-conscious about the attempt at karaoke. The mic is this one: Yeti Blue It's a terrific omni-directional USB condenser mic.
