I still need to sell my '61 Minor Traveller. I have dropped the price $1000. Email me or call 970-290-3791 if you would like to discuss. I also have quotes for shipping to east or west coast.

I forget what it looks like - didn't you post some photos once?

Here are some details:
Cas is "Seafoam" green. It has the 948 motor. Smoothcase trans. Twin carbs on the engine. Engine has new rings, bearings etc. The engine in it is a midget motor. I will also include the original 948 from the car. New innards in this one too, needs an oilpan gasket.
Car has pertronix ignition, as well as front disc brakes.
Original wood is good, no soft spots. Car is not rust free (IT'S BRITISH!), but has spent its life in Colorado. It has had the rear passenger floors replaced, not beautiful, but functional. Tires are about a year old. It has the original front seats. Rear seat cushions are probably out of a sedan. Rear seat latches are present. In addition to the extra motor, I have a few other extra parts. All will go with the car. Shipping would run ~ $700 to west coast, ~$900 to the east coast. I have it priced at $5000. Price is firm.
Photo show how it goes in the snow.

hmmm, where in Colorado are you? I'll be in Kansas City for 2 weeks in February...would it make the run?

I'm in Loveland CO. My in-laws used to live no North Kansas City. It was 638 miles to their house. I've made this trip many times. The Traveller is nice around town, and for the infrequent longer trip. That long of trip would be a long haul. Not really an interstate car. It would probably do it, but no promises. I have made the trip several times in Model A Fords, a '33 Ford, MGBs, '65 Spitfire and a number of other vehicles, and never had major problems, but it was always an adventure. If interested let me know.

Ditto - I've gotta figure out if I'll be back in Kansas when the weather turns nice enough to grab it....figure if I am, I could run out over a Saturday/Sunday & put it on the trailer.

1 question: how's the wood?

I'm out - my military handler says I'll probably spend the majority of my time this year out of the country.

Tony

May I ask what you do? I used to work abroad on "odd jobs" as a contractor. I retired from the Army 10 years ago and haven't done any "work" for 3 years now.

You can e mail if you want
