Mineral blue PPG Dbu formula # needed

Those formulas I have come across for Ditz also but they must not carry over to a PPG DBU base coat clear coat formula. I have a PPG DBU mixing bench so I was hoping for that certain formula. I called the paint store and they told me that both Ditz numbers come up as something else. I guess I may have to scour the paint chips for a close alternate or try another brand of paint for this color.
I know I can't be the only one that has had this problem ;>)

I have that colour listed as BU9 and Ault & Wiborg #18921,ICI
#3130. Maybe that will help you to track it down. It is also known as "MG blue".

Some things you just have to look up for yourself I guess ;>0
I decided to check DBU formula 15406 and it came up with 80-82 MBZ blue,seems close,hope it is close enough for the customer ;>)

Maybe this will help... ICI is International Color Instituet.
Baslilica Blue 7300 used on sprites but is non-metalic looks close...

Go online to https://pc.dupont.com/ and create a password etc. When you log on go to the center of th page to "Dupont Refinish" the right side of that page go to color formula retrieval under the "Helpful Hints". Click on agree to whatever it is they want (didn't actually read it).Now you can cross formulas from other paint companies as well as do look up by make, model, and year. You will be able to choose the size of your Dupont mix and print it out in. Be careful on going too small on amounts, as you cannot do a 1/2 of a drop when mixing paint.

Finding older formulas for a base/coat clear mix is getting tougher,especially on the colors that didn't get used for many years.

Sprayed out the door jambs,under hood,under trunk lid. Color looks good! PPG DBU 15406 is a good tintable formula for Mineral Blue. Our cars paint was had a slight purple hue,this colors prime formula is more on the green side. Blues when mixed tend to have more a redish blue hue or a greenish blue version, it is very subtle, when viewed side by side you can see the difference. Over all I am happy with the color Yea!!
