It slides into a groove along the top edge of the windscreen frame. You can't push it in, you have to pull it stretching as you go -- the stretching makes it thinner so it will move thru the groove. Some dishwashing soap will help lube it.

Don't trim the ends until it has been in there awhile and relaxed back inot its natural length.
