I did not make it to the Chico show but my Wife and I went to the showing of the cars of this years Millie Magallie rally. There were some very nice cars there but one stood out a very nice TR 2 TS # was around 1004. The owner did not want to open the hood for a peek. The rally is 1000 miles thru the wine country and down to Pebble beach and Monterey Bay. Sounds like a lot of fun But the entry fee is $5800 and your car has to be 1957 or older. There are some beautiful cars!

My 1957 MGA Coupe would be perfect for that. Unfortunately, Stirling is in boxes - does the car have to run? I could restore the engine or go on the 1000 mile run. Hmmm.

Thanks for the pictures.

Cheers,

Looks like a Maserati 300S...Gorgeous car.

That entry fee does tend to keep the riff raff out. Thanks for the pics, nice looking cars! To bad you couldn't get a look at the under hood on the TR.

Ah well!
