I only had contact with him via our common link of TR’s and YouTube, racing and the like.
He was generous with his knowledge etc
Latterly he suffered with ill health and bad legs but continued to work hard on VW engines and in the tourist industry doing a lot of driving.
I hope he is in a better place.
