Mike Masters comes through!

I ordered a headlamp Relay wiring Kit from Mike Masters a month or so ago, with the intent of installing it this summer for my Halogen headlamps. Now that the engine is out, it is sooooo much easier to work in there, so I asked Mike to try to ship early.

Luckily, I was in the hopper for March delivery, so Mike sent it out on Thursday. It also helps that Dale has such a great relationship with Dan & Mike. Thanks Dale!!

One more in a long line of parts to finish this project up for summer.

Well- de nada, amigo!!

Now, do ya know how ta use a British bullet crimper tool and a tiny
propane soldering torch?? That #8 wire needs ta be soldered pretty good.
I used me plumber's torch actually.

If yer not familiar with the procedure, I'll do a quickie "how to" !!

PS: Don't forget to intall the wires onto the high/low beam foot switch!

Blimey - decent day for a change.

Dale,

Thanks for the advice and help in getting this expedited. I have a column mounted dimmer switch (later model than yours) and the wiring from the column out to the engine is fine, so we'll cut them off as the Masters instructions state to do.

All other ends and connections will be soldered properly and then heat shrink wrapped on the ends, especially the connection(s) at the starter solenoid.

This was a timely arrival, as the wiring/relay kit for the 16" Spal fan came this week as well. Now ALL of the new wiring can be run with the engine out of the bay and out of the way!!
