I think I've created a monster. I know how to post photos, finally! These are a few photos of our recent garage renovation for which husband deserves all the credit! Some befores and afters. We should have taken photos of the outside during the renovation. We were beginning to look like squarters.

Nice job! I'm not bored, so what did you do with the floor?

My garage project is coming up soon and I want the floor to look good, but be able to withstand melting snow and salt from NE roads. Not from the TR6 of course, but the other two drivers.

Great Job! Looks very nice. Makes my cluttered up mess look more like a, cluttered up mess!

Who's the flier? I see a Cessna sign. Cool!

Very nice, a lot of hard work there.

There's nothing like a nice garage to ply one's projects in, the very soul of a comfortable home, IMHO.

Enjoy!

:thankyousign: Thanks for all you kind comments. The floor is epoxy and it was the first thing done and withstood a real beating during the renovation which included spilled paint and lots of saw dust and glue and who knows what else. It appears to be a solid surface. Husband 12 years ago put an epoxy finish on the floor but nothing like what the professionals did. It was well worth the expense and if we are to beieve, it will last a lifetime. I've already wiped up anti-freeze, engine oil and even spilled some gas.

As to the Cessna sign, husband is a commercial pilot and the sign blew off of the building of the fixed based operator in Albuquerque and cracked. Husband got it from them as they replaced it and to the garage it went. He actually put in lights behind the sign so he can flip a switch and it lights up. Thought that was dumb but nevertheless clever.

Again I have to say I am so proud of him. I know he has never hung cabinets before but he just seemed to know how. He's a clever chap! I learned all about shims and found out you can actually buy them at the hardware store.

You're a sweetheart to offer but we'll pass this time. As an f/y/i I was born in Providence and grew up in Stonington and Pawcatuck, thence on to Massachusetts. I know the New England area well. Yesterday 90 and today 60? What do they say about New England? If you don't like the weather now, just wait a minute.

And, we're plum tuckered out now.
