been blowing hard here the past two days. Bad weather moving in now and already blowing real hard....like "I don't want my wife on the road" hard. I think this might get really bad. Weird thing is, the front is a straight line north-south moving east with winds out the south. Seems like it's renforcing itself. Usually there is a slant to the front here but now you have high winds behind high winds.

Our friends in the tornado belt best hunker down. I've got a bad feeling about thhis one Sarge. :eeek:

This is th' same condition here. Blowin' north, a real vertical.

Just east of it has gotta be a ~shear~ point.

...I had a gyroscope as a kid. This has potential to be nasty.

Y'all keep your heads down out there. Mild here (into the 60s this weekend). Guest room's available if shelter is required...

Our little town of Locust Grove and our neighboring town of Salina is reported to have total out at 11 inches of rain due to this storm pattern! A few tornadoes east of us. Were high and dry, but the poor folks in the low lands weren't so lucky. PJ

Nothing (and I do mean nothing) here. A bit of rain but no wind to speak of. All show and no blow. Wife made it in and back w/o issue. That's all I really worry about on my end. Hope other folks fair out o.k elsewhere.

Guess I won't look for a career in meterology anytime soon.

Well y'all sent it all up here!

Freak tornado out of nowhere touched down about 5 miles from the house. Tore up a couple of houses on one street and pulled back up into the clouds. Bizarre, even by our wacky weather standards.

March 2nd, had tornadoes all over the place. Leveled a town in southern Indiana about 30 miles north of here, as well as several others across the state.

This 80 degree weather in March had to have consequences.
