Midget seat nuts and bolts

I am replacing the aftermarket seats in my 1971 Arkley SS Midget with earlier seats (that I am rebuilding) out of a 1966 Midget. The current seats sit too high and have me looking over the windscreen. I don't care for the taller head rest seats that came in the MK III series, preferring the more period look for my car.
My problem is that most of the nuts and bolts on the seats I am repairing are in terrible shape. I would like to replace them, but I am having trouble locating the correct items. There is a company in Great Britain that sells the seat rail bolt replacements, but they don't ship to the U.S.
I have tried going to the hardware store tried matching the lengths and threads, but nothing seems to be right.
Is there anyone here who can give me an idea of what I need and where to find it. I really don't want to put them back together with mismatches.

McMaster Carr has every kind of fastener and then some, however quantities are probably more than you need. That said with some of the prices at Moss and AH Spares you still might come out ahead. And if the yellow zinc finish is a turnoff just place them in some vinegar for a short while to get rid of it.

Most of the nuts and bolts Should be 1/4" UNF or 5/16" UNF on the MG Midget.
I think this is the site I used to order a selection of fasteners from. I did note that the 1/4" washers seem too big so I tend to use 10mm washers which fit the 1/4" screws better.
