Midget Hoods [tops]

Anybody have a view as to whether the Robbins convertible tops or the Tickford tops are superior for a Midget (74)? Those two, and an even cheaper one by an unidentified maker, are offered by Vic Brit.

I've always used (since '70) Robbins tops on my cars, always recommend 'em to clients. They fit well, have all the necessary parts, last as long as any I've seen. Good value for the money, IMHO.

I only use Robbins - they fit well & last a long time....but, shop around for the best price...VB can be beat.

OK, Along the same lines, what is a quality top with a zip out rear window? Does Robbins make such an animal?

I sell Robbins tops but they all match the original - never saw a Midget with a zip-out rear window

Well it's about time, cause I will need one one day. They are great sun shades.

I checked the robbins site, they don't have a zip out model. I've seen zip out models elsewhere. I'll have to do more research.

Would be willing to bet that any old top could be made into a zippered sun top cheeply.
