I haven't seen their 1500 headers but I have a LCB for a 1275 from Kirk Racing and I like it. They build them to order so you need to plan ahead.

Chris,

Why do you use Kirk racing headers over say, pacesetters? Do they fit easier, better quality?

The quality on them is better in my opinion. They are pretty much the same as the Winner's Circle header, but less expensive. If you need one now get it from WC, if you can wait use Kirk. Last year Kirk was $169 plus shipping ($18) and WC was $215 including shipping. WC had it in stock, Kirk was a 4 week lead. It's only fair to pay for inventory.

The Pacesetter header I got for my 1500 was terrible.
If I hadn't been in such a rush, I would have sent it back.
Instead, I had to do a lot of "fitting" and grinding on it to get it to fit properly.

I don't think I have purchased a header from Moss or VB that did not require some grinding and tweeking to fit properly!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/rolleyes.gif
