Midget Engine/Transmission Bolts

I have hit the information brick wall and hoping the forum can help. I'm at the stage where I can put my 1275 and original 4 speed transmission back in my 1974 MG Midget. My car was a basket case, and I didn't get the bolts that mate the transmission to the engine backplate. Does anyone know what size bolts, thread, length, thread count, etc that mate these two components together? Also I believe there's some bolts that fit the transmission to the trans tunnel inside the car? I thought I'd be able to source these bolts pretty easy at auto parts stores or home centers, or find a kit with them all, but nothing. Help! My engine hoist is begging to be used. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hammer.gif

Moss Motors should have the kit - they do for the B. Check their catalog for Engine Hardware Kits.

Thank you Mickey for the suggestion. My Moss discount supplier couldn't find a kit. I called Moss a few moments ago. There's a catalog that Europe uses which has the bolts and fastners. No kit, but can buy individually for about .70 cents each. Reason for the catalog is everything for Europe is apparently metric, and most of our cars have American fastner hardware. The salesperson was able go to through the catalog and get the right nuts, bolts, etc. Unfortunately I didn't get parts numbers, but will be trying to source this Moss English catalog for future reference.

I believe they are both 3/8" dia fine thread available at any old hardware store but the length I will have to measure. Maybe 2.5 and 1.5. That probably won't be for a couple of days though. Others should know - if not, I'll measure.

The bellhousing bolts aew 5/16 x 24 x 1.25" long.
1 1/2" maybe. There are 2 thru bolts with nuts on the bottom.
Trans tunnel bolts are the same.
Under car trans mount bolts are about 3.25" long and 3/8 x 24.
all are available at any hardware store. Not home centers though, they usually don't carry fine thread bolts.
