Hi Gang,

We're here in Elkhart Lake and having a ball already! The town is packed...parking is at a premium....and lots of exotics to check out. Our room is good, the food is good, and the ice cream was really good! We're put about 600 miles on the Spridget since leaving Michigan on Thursday. The weather is hot, but Elkhart Lake has a moderating effect and so does Lake Michigan, so it is not as hot here the rest of WI.....only the low 90's. (Jim is taking credit for that!)
See you all soon, and be safe!

Steve

Made it to Ludington - 427 miles, met Jer and Nelson and their (much better) halfs. Got to Sarnia and stopped for gas, noticed a green puddle underthe car - oops. Went to Canadian Tire - can you help? Nope. But we sell JB weld - got to watch the end of the British Open while it dried. Didn't dry enough as next stop more puddle. As ileft CT i'm going to buy a torch and some solder just in case ( what i should have used in the first place. Anyway couln't even get it started ( POC) two guys come up on motorcycles, one says I'm a fabricator, cabn I help? You are my new best friend! Got it down to a leak and bars leak did the rest. veryhot drive and at Saginaw she started misfiring. Next gas stop most of it went away - so, did I get bad gas? It's still doing it some but oil pressure good, temp good and tomorrow 100 guys who know more about Midgets than me ( and maybe 7 who don't) So i'm hoping for help. Will keep youposted.

Miss Agatha and I are pulling for you guys. Go guys go.

Last evening a storm swept through and really cooled things off at least over near Ripon WI.
It's great being here, I have a blog and a Picasa site where I'm putting all my pictures.
I had a comment from someone who will remain nameless than I need more pictures of people and less of cars, so I have taken a couple more 'people pictures'.
Here in the Victorian Village with my 13 year old son, Peter.
We are going to have a GREAT time.

Hey, I just noticed if you type the word "Dam"+ N - it magically turns into DARN.
Very clever.... I'm not a webmaster but I have to look up how that's done.

Home safe, got in just now. Stopped by chanute air force base and knocked around for a couple hours. Nice museum but its really depressing the rest of the base looks like Chernobyl or something. The B36 was gone :frown:

Quite a trek, Kim. Glad ya made it "there and back".

Sad about Chanute tho.
