Just mailed of my registration and payment on Saturday. I would not miss this for the world. Its a once in a lifetime thing. I was just reading up on the event on the Sprite/Midget site and was shocked to see that Frank Clarici had passed away. I talked to him quite a bit at LOTO and he had brought 3 cars and the one with the monza bonnet was awesome. They left out from LOTO with two cars loaded on the trailer and he said he was going to drive the blue one with the monza nose for a few hundred miles instead of haul it.

Got email confirmation of my registration, hotels are booked, ferry is booked, trip is planned, vacation days booked - wish I had more time to get Bridget more presentable but I have logged just over 1000 trouble free miles since buying last fall so mechanically I'm in decent shape, just not as "showy" as I would like.

Here is my trip route:

Hopefully the link works...

Heck with "showy".. You're going to like that drive. When in Ludington waiting for the ferry there's a nice brew pup 3 blocks away. Ask, and they'll tell you. I usually grab a growler for the ride.

Yeah, we're going to have a blast!

My MGTD is in Dodge City with Jim Johnson. My Sprite is in Newport News with Jimmy Blotter. And I'm up near Lake George weeding arugala on my son's farm. But I have reservations to cross on the SS Badger and now that I know of the brew pub I will bet on a safe voyage in the care of a friendly growler. Rick Fisk and I have reservations on the boat and at Siebkens Resort. All is well.
