IS there any Known Difference when putting a Midget Motor in a Spitfire. I know there the same. but what would have to be adapted

Big difference is the oil pan and oil pump pickup.
You can change just the pan to clear the Midget frame, but the Spit oil pump pickup will starve for oil even in slow turns if it isn't swapped.

the pan should be fine ina Spit though right? Reason i ask is i sold a motor to a fellow on EBay out of one of my Midget he wanting to stick it in a Spitfire. i was not sure what interchanged.

What Nial said. Mine has a Spitfire oil pickup installed for some reason, but I'm pretty sure it's the original engine. I discovered it when I went to investigate why my oil pressure dropped if I stopped hard. Now I make sure I keep the oil topped up and it's fine.

Engine brackets are different. You will need a different exhaust manifold. I fit a spitfire into my midget and the spitfire exhaust wouldn't fit so I think you would run into the verse. Other then that I don't things were much different.
