mid-lift jack advice requested

Anybody out there have experience with mid-lift jacks for home garage applications?

I'm interested in one for cars such as Morgan and E-type Jag, i.e. relatively small and light.

I wonder in particular if the jack mechanism seriously interferes with transmission and lower engine work.

I've seen advertised a new portable two-post style MaxJax which looks nice for the typical home garage application.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I've got no experiences for you, but with no replies to your question, thought you might want to look here: https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=35763
You'll see a bunch of comments from those who have recently received their MaxJax. They seemed to be generally pleased with the installation, the customer service, and the quality of materials. Also, some good photos of the lift in action.
