Yesterday in Livonia, a blaze orange rubber bumpered Midget on a rollback, and today, 15 miles west of Pontiac,on M-59, a similar colored TR6.
Anybody we know??
Jeff

...and while we're at it.

I saw an orange/red TR7 on Rt.80 around mile marker 30 yesterday about 4:00 PM. Heading west, top up.

I don't blame him for having the top up...it was blazing hot. I was heading east in the Miata with the top up and the A/C blasting.

Wazzis "A/C" you referr to?!?! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

It's the little switch in my Miata I have engaged from April to October!

Well, the way I see it, A/C serves dual purpose. In addition to keeping the occupants 'comfortable', it also reduces the likelihood of the car's upholstery absorbing large quantities of the owner's sweat, and therefore B.O.

I remember looking at a used car once, that didn't have A/C. Apparently the car was 'new' to the lot and they didn't 'clean' it up yet. So, when the salesman opened the door of the car for me, we all started gagging on the odors that flooded our senses. I'd never seen a salesman shut a car door faster and request maintenance to bring out a 5 gallon bucket of Febreeze faster!

You sure you're getting enuff sleep, Jeff? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/jester.gif

Next it'll be two hens' teeth an' a Jackalope. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

Doc, I got a witness! Kind of an "almost ripe tomato" color, top down and looking good!
(The car, not the witness, silly.)
He was describing a car to me that he had seen last night, and it sounds an awful lot like an Arnolt Bristol. They're coming out of the woodwork around here. And the Woodward Dream Cruise is still better than two weeks away.
Jeff

You guys see the new A/C Moss has put together for the B? $1700 but would be a nice thing for a daily driver or a tourer.

I raced with this Arnolt-Bristol a few weeks ago at PVGP. I talked to the owner for quite a while....told me all about the "war reperations" from BMW and so forth. AB made *everything* on their cars...trans, rear, etc (except they used Lucas electrical stuff). Neat cars!
