GT6 Michigan request for help evaluating GT6

I am interested in a 71 GT6 in Lake Odessa (half between Lansing and Grand Rapids).

If there are any members of the board that are willing to take a look it would save me from paying for a generic inspection. I am glad to send the $100 your way.

The car looks pretty solid. I would love to have someone who has done body work on a spitfire or GT6 take a look. Anyone who knows British Cars would be of help.

You might want to send a note to John Twist of University Motors.. Lake Odessa is right down the road from his shop in Ada Mi. I know John is in the process of closing his shop but he should be able to put you in touch with a local MG or Triumph guy that can take a look at the car.

Back in 1987 I visited John's shop looking for an MGB and he sent me out to Lake Odessa to look at a customers car that he said was a good one.. I still have it thanks to his tip.

If I were closer I would go and take a look for you.

I have shaken the trees and it looks like a few of you have too. As a result I got a call from a guy (Arthur) who is nicely qualified to evaluate this rig. He is looking at this car for me this morning.
