Michelin Tire History?

Does anyone know of a good source on Michelin passenger tire history? A general web search came up with nada. I am looking for the years of introduction for the blueline (those are Michelin, right?) and redline tires.

Anyway, a friend at work with a '65 Mustang did say red lines existed when his car was new.

It seems that the colored line tires were not brand specific with B.F. Goodrich, U.S. Royal, Goodyear, and Michelin all producing them so I will dig deeper into when the trend started.

I believe Firestone had a blueline tire called Firestone Deluxe Champion Blueline

Don't forget the infamous Goodyear "Bluestreaks"...raised white letters, blue stipe, street tire. Good for dry weather, but diabolical in the rain.

Kas Kastner ran Goodyears with blue lines on the TR4s at the '63 Sebring. I wonder if those are the same?
