Congradulations on the cover shot in the February issue of Victory Lane. To bad the FV had to tag along.

Yes, great shot.....I just got my Victory Lane today too!

By the way, that's Ralph Salomon's open-wheel Elva Fomula Jr. blocking the view.

So it's really two Elvas.

Ralph is not blocking the view--he was passing me one of the few times I was able to get in front of him! We had some great races but once he got ahead I could not reel him back in.

Here's another shot showing Ralph and me on the track together, taken at the 2011 SVRA Mid-Ohio races.

Though I am right behind the Aston and was all over him in the corners he would invariably pull away on the straights.

We've had that polished Aston at a few of our West Coast events. I think it's an re-bodied DB-4, it certainly has some grunt down the straights.

Nice photo. That's Gary Kropft in his yellow 948 Bugeye behind you. I has some great races with him at BeaveRun last year.

That Aston is a Zagato body. It's owned by Herb Wetanson, the guy who used to own Wetson's Hamburgers (sold out to Burger King years ago). He has some other neat cars too.

My mother always told me to go into the hamburger business!
