I purchased a 91 miata last June. The tires are starting to wear down and its time to start thinking about getting some new tires. The tires on the car are toyo somethings. They are a performance tires and I like the way it makes my car stick to the ground. I've got a few decisions to make. My family and I have always bought regular tires from Wal-Mart and definitly like the fact if you have a flat you can take it to Wal-Mart and get in repaired for free. Does Wal-Mart offer a good performance tire that I would like on my car? Another way I could go would be buy some tires from tirerack and if they go flat just pay to get them fixed. I'm in college so I don't just have bags full of cash to spend on these tires. Another question I have is if I go with just getting tires what kind of tires would I want to buy? I know people on here have miatas and was wondering what kind of tires they have had on their car and what they have liked. I guess it doesn't really matter if you have a miata or not. Just general information would be great. I have Yoko's on my TR6 and like them. Just let me know. Thanks
