Has anyone out there put a set of Miata seats in the TR6. I'm looking for help on how the miata seat rails were modified. If available send photos off post to yeahbabytr6@msn.com /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thirsty.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grouphug.gif

Roger Williams, in his book How to Improve the TR6, goes into great detail about how to do this. It is not a difficult shitch, one which I am considering doing. It's a good book, with a lot of great info.

any pictures available, i´m about to do the same in my TR4A, i have some pics of a TR4A with the same seats but does not include details about instalation. please let me know how you do and lets keep in touch my email is, "pvernon@panamotor.com.gt".

I learned this from installing Miata seats in a GT6, it may help you. If you have access to a welder, weld a stong nut to the underside of the floor pans where you drill the seat mounting holes.

This will save a lot of install/removal effort in the future and will prevent the mounting holes from eating into your floor pans. It also helps to use a rubber washer on the floor pan on the inside, helps keep moisture out.

Good luck with your install!
