Miata seats in an MGB?

Has anyone fitted those bullet-proof cloth Miata seats in a rubber-bumper MGB?
A possum took out mine.
The non-concourse color (pink) has already compromised the car's authenticity.
I see quite a few posts from other British sports cars with successful fittings.

Miata seats are not uncommon in a MGB -- they also give you speakers in the headrests. I'm not sure what sort of bracketry you'd have to work up, but it's definitely been done.

I've heard it's done often as well Before spending money on new seats, replace the carpet and, cough/cough, have it sprayed. Someone will think you work for MaryKay...
