Spotted a nice pair of Mazda Miata seats at the local wrecking yard, wonder if anyone out there has put them into a MGB and how they fit/look? Any comments? Should I get them while I can, $60 for the pair If I act quick.

Wait what year were they from?
 
Yes...a fairly easy conversion. Ditto with Fiero seats.

I've heard that the earlier Miata seats work better..but I do not know why.
 
I was just curious. I know the Miata is getting bigger with each version. I assume the seats are wider also. I don’t think I have seen anyone use the surf board seats from a version 2 in this type of conversion.
 
Also thinner, later seats are not as comfortable as the originals. Bob
 
Got these out of a 92 Miata for $30 for the pair, now just have to figure which MGB I want to put them in. Hey, they even have a place in the headrest for speakers (someone grabbed them already. But I got the seats!

You got a steal.

Go to Best Buy (etc) to get speakers....3-1/2" maximum diameter.

I'll bet the wiring to the speakers is still intact.
