I HOPE I HAVE NOT SCREWED UP. WHEN REWORKING THE OIL PUMP ON MY TD, I NOTICED THERE WERE NOT THE PARTS IN THE BYPASS VALVE THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN. THE BALL, SPRING SEAT AND CAP. SO WHEN I ATTEMPTED TO PUT THE NEW PARTS IN, THERE WAS A PIECE OF METAL TUBING IN ITS PLACE. I EXTRACTED THE TUBE AND PUT THE SPRING ETC. IN. THE TUBE WAS FLUSH WITH AND INSERTED INTO THE BLOCK. IS ANYONE OUT THERE FAMILIAR WITH THE OIL PUMP ASSEMBLY ON A TD. (THIS IS NOT THE PRESSURE REGULATION PART OF THE PUMP, BUT RATHER THE BYPASS IF THE OIL FILTER SHOULD BECOME CLOGGED) MANY THANKS TO ANYONE THAT CAN HELP....
