MGC MGC on EBay...

It's pretty much the sdame as looking at a B except that the front suspension is attached to the chassis, so check there for damage and rust. I'd be concerned with the rust around the front fender / windscreen area. It could be nasty under there. MGC engines also cost more to rebuild than Bs.

I've been watching that one also & thinking it probably is a good project...just don't get too deep into it dollar-wise....lemme know if you decide to bid & I won't.

Thanks Tony, I'm going to decide today. I'd sure like to get a look at it, but it's not likely I will.

Price is still right, Dave.

Hey Tony, if your interested in that one I only live about an hour away.

Regards John

Tony, it's the right project at the wrong time and I have no place to put it until I can get to it. I had in mind a project B, but given that it's a C, I'm confident I'd get carried away and I'd prefer to do it the right way. So far, I've talked myself out of bidding on it...

I also have talked myself out of it...I'm gonna concentrate on the MG's already in my collection - plus the latest one I just acquired.

Tony, I thought that was you bidding - last bid so far $1500 by bidder "t*****t".

I guess it's someone else? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

I've been watching but haven't bid...I've pretty much decided not to - but will wait to see wehat happens in last few hours.

Jumping a bit now, $2400!
That engine compartment looks complete.

I don't need it that badly - I've already got an MGC GT & an MGC roadster w/OD

About $2,500, is that about the right price?? It seems like a pretty good deal for a complete car.

In my opinion, yes, $2550 was a good deal for a complete albeit non-running MGC/GT
