I am about to paint a 1969 MGC GT, but cannot seem to find the white paint color for it. I have looked at the swatch colors available on the internet, but cannot make a match NOR find the current manufacturers that make the paint. Where should I look? What to do?

I "found" the Old English White for my B by chatting with the counter guy at a local auto body paint supply. Googled it for cross reference numbers (DuPont, PPG, etc.) and had it mixed in Valspar single stage urethane. But at the start I knew the name of the color.

EDIT: Welcome to the forum, BTW!

And a hearty New Mexico Welcome to you from N W New Mexico. This is the best forum on the net and especially, as you will discover for LBCs. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/savewave.gif

Glacier White

Was that the only white color choice for the GT that year, Tony? I thought "Glacial" or "Arctic" was in the "pile" too.

I'm goin' by memory (poor memory) so no claim of real knowledge. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

'69 white was Snowberry White; '70 was the Glacier White....difference is that the Glacier has a slight green tint when in sunlight & Snowberry is pure.

Thank you so much for the info /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
