NO! Inner fenders & hood should be the same color as the body...engine itself should be AH green - valve cover is incorrectBut everything appears to be there (most important thing are those 2 brae boosters, IMHO
He did say the engine had been rebuilt "professsionally" 2500 miles ago. Must have decided on red! I see many cars with engine bays painted black which makes me question what happened. I have a MIni that way.
It looks complete, albeit not wuite as it left the factory. Nice aftermarket alloy rocker cover. Original brake boosters. As Tony mentions, the block should NOT be red, but a cariation of Healey Green. I've not seen a windscreen washer bottle mounted in that position, and it does not look like one from an MGC..probably and MGB. The radiatior shroud is complete...something that's important with the MGC. Oil filter canister generally painted same colour as the engine....green.
Looks like a little green peaking out from beneath the black of the engine compartment...which of course, should be painted the same colour as the body.
Looks as if the blower and cooling system for the carb float bowls is missing...very important when driving in warm climates. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif
