I am in Southern California and I'm having a heck of a time finding someone to install a windscreen in my 71 MGB. Can anyone steer me in the right direction? Thanks, Dan
Don't go to safelite all they will do is screw it up. I've done a few and if your patient you can do it yourself and most likely do a much better job than the shops. Also spring for the triplex glass. It's twice the price but the quality and fit is far superior to the aftermarket glass.
Shop around the glass places that other members in your local club frequent. We have a guy up here that does them with warranty for $110 labor and they come out perfect. Whole job including flawless repro glass ,seals and body gasket with warranty $400 total. Never had an issue with the company he uses for the glass in clear or with the tint strip and it is spot on to the triplex.
