MGB-GT MGB vs. MGB/GT front fenders

Is there a difference between the front fenders on roadsters and GTs? I have a friend who is selling one right and one left fenders on E-Bay and people are telling him there's a difference, it beats me where. I have noticed one fender has stamped cut outs for the side marker light and the other appears to be an earlier model as it has none. Anybody know?

A roadster fender has a cut out for the windshield post. A GT fender has a much larger rounded cut in that area to accomodaete for the different cowl. They are not interchangable, unless you go a bunch of grafting and welding.
