Trunk is buckled as a result of trying to close when locked in the upright position. Can the trunk be straightened or must be replaced?
 
I'm sure a good body shop can straighten it, but it might be cheaper to find a replacement. There are a couple on e-bay now, and I've got one that's straight, but has some rust and holes for the luggage rack.
