I did a search, but didn't find the result I was looking for. An opportunity has presented itself to buy 4 new 185/60 14s for the junkpile B. First, will they fit? I think they might be a little short on sidewall, but not sure. How do they stack up. I think it has 185/70s on it now. (The junkpile B is a 69 MGB roadster with wire wheels)

They will fit but the size difference will be very noticeable. 185/70 is better. I have 195/60R14 on my '67 BGT and that's as small as I would recommend. I wanted 195/65 but they were not available anywhere in a decent tire.
 
I have 185/60s on my car and they fit fine. It does help lower my RB car some. Of course the speedo is off some because of them...
