T-Series MGB steering column features-mix/match?

Guys, if you could mix/match steering column features what would you want on "your" steering column?

Keep in mind that 68-69 nuts are NLA, AFAIK, so how important would it be for you to convert over to the late style nut? Of if you have used the "BFH" method and destroyed the threads on your column to the point that your nut would no longer thread on, what would it be worth to be able to reuse your column again? Or say you had a 68-69 column and you wanted to use a late model wheel? Would you be interested?

Just kicking around an idea and was wondering what y'alls response would be. I'm working on a method to replace the buggered threads on columns and was wondering how far I might be willing to expand this service.
BTW, you can contact me at gerry@gem-enterprises.net if you'd like
Thanks for the feedback in advance.

Sorry for the multiple edits-trying to figure out how to do things here

I'd like to be able to put a banjo style wheel on a 80 style column Gerry. probably not possible

Anything is possible, Chuck. I suspect that the top of an early steering shaft could be mated to the top half of a late column with a bit of cutting, machining and welding. Would require a custom made top bearing/bushing as well. Would you like for me to think on it some more?

"steering column features"

Yep a wheel would be the most important thing I should think, second a horn button that works a very large horn.

Anything else is just for fun.
