MGB MGB speedster prototype bits

The V8 might be better for pure power, but a souped-up B engine with a blower might give it more, ummm, "period style".

You gonna race it or show it off? You're gonna want fast either way, but there's different kinds of fast.

I think it is really a neat thing. The kind of stuff you wish you could have gotten when the car was new. Can't wait for the next installment.

Thanks Jack, here is one option for my engine. Havent posted a pix of my engine before because they are not unusual. Rick, I am leaning your way about the engine,it seems more appropriate, cant afford a supercharger tho. BUT...I have a TR8 also with a big bore exhaust. man, cant beat the sound, the hot rod guys even take notice and like it. OK pix added, hope it comes thru.

Well.... This is entertaining, in a cruel pull-the-dog's-ears sorta way.

one last shot at it,...you've all seen engines anyway.

I have no idea how that happened, never got the option to click "submit". Can somebody point me in the direction of the old Dodge truck web site. I got to relate to someone.

Now that's a good looking engine.

Pleeeeease tell us you're going to put a proper air filter on there...

That engine is way too pretty to lose to a few particles of stray grit.

Hmmm. its a ram-flo..are they not good?. I have the same set on my dual webber set up. I got them from a fellow who used them as a competition set up. The carb on the B engine is a mikuni, what other filters fit?

Nice work, Box!

Not sure about the quality of the filters, but have you given any thought to the fan blade? There are some horror stories about those metal ones failing and becoming serious projectiles. I scrapped the metal blade on our '73 and replaced it with a plastic one.
