Just wanted to let MGB fans know that the Salvation Army in Long Beach CA has a 69 (I think) MGB roadster for sale. Their asking price is $2500.00 although they are open to offers. I can't tell you if it runs or not as I was able to look at it for a few minutes last Saturday as the car lot is closed on weekends - a nice Fiat 124 owner let me for a couple of minutes. It's green w/black interior&top, wire wheels, luggage rack, driving lights etc. The body appears to be in very good condition and the interior is serviceable. Anyway, the contact info is below, hopefully someone will want to rescue this B! Roy

Your Salvation Army has a car lot??!!! cool!
I guess I live in too rural of an area.
I hope someone saves it.

The Salvation Army in Huntsville had a big boat in it not long ago..we're talking BIG! Somebody had donated it.

salvation army with cars havent seen that yet. next time i am looking for a car i will check that out.

Hey Guys - I was surprised the "Army" had a car lot also. It appears people donate all kinds of stuff to them to include boats, motorcycles etc. This lot had a boat also but is a small day sailer (Coronado 15) with a trailer and very good condition for $1800.00.
I do hope someone does rescue the B. I'm going to keep checking on it and if it doesn't move I'll make them an offer and work on it as my Bugeye project will let me - the Bugeye restoration is why I didn't jump on it when I saw it!
I'm sure it will sell sooner or later to a worthy enthusiast. Roy /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif
