Got my new Victoria British calalog today and noticed they have rear springs for my B for only $60 bucks compared to Moss's price of $84. Has anyone used the VB springs and been happy with them...if so, for how long???

Hi Bruce, My experience with VB rear springs was not good. I bought a set for my 74 GT because they had low price, When I was finished the rear sat two to three inches high. In fact they had such an arch I had to bolt a plate to the spring and flatten it so I could put shackle bolt in. On the spring it says made in China. They gladly took them back, and I ordered a set from the B-Hive. Worked great. I have heard of others having the same problem as well. Hope I caught you in time. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif

Yes...Thanks...gonna wait until I put her up for the winter before I tear her down and decide what else I need to replace /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I will stick with the tried and true Moss probably.

When I got my MGB two years ago it had new Moss rear springs that were installed in 1999. They are about 2 inches to high and have not settled out. Check with Moss to be sure that the springs are from the UK. If not buy from Brit-Tek. They have the correct springs made in the UK. Their price is about the same as Moss.

I will second that, the springs I bought from B-Hive were from the UK also, when I ordered them I was explaining my problem with the previous springs, and I had two words out of my mouth and he said let me guess you bought them from VB and they say made in China on them, YUP /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
