MGB MGB Paint schemes

Recently believe it or not the MG has been very reliable, no dramas to report... FEELS GREAT! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Um, have been looking to get sprayed... mainly looking at getting a metalic blue colour done to the body (Minus the engine bay)
What do you guys recon of this as a few crude ideas other than just a plain old colour?
please blur your eyes a bit... was a quick photoshop job

The sides are a ripoff of the big healy's, do u guys recon they work on the shape of the MGB?

Stripes maybe, but I don't know about the side paint. Then again, I've turned into a bit of a tradionalist.

Heck,..it's only paint,..if you don't like it, it's an easy fix.

I love the colour of urs!

originally i wanted to get a dark metalic blue kinda like a few of the AC cobra's are sprayed with the white gt stripes, but ur lighter shade of blue is SWEET AS!
I wouldnt mind doing mine a similar colour to that...
Whats the name of the colour?

That was about the 10,000th blue I'd looked at.
I was originally going for a darker blue too,...had considered some originals Midnight, Basilica and Mineral,..but none really did it for me. They also didn't have much of a metallic selection.

I ended up going through Rover chip books, My blue is "Astral Blue Metallic", a 1975 rover color,..there were some sweet darker shades too,..but this one caught me right away! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
